How I clean my Huetiful Steamer

For Valentine's Day last year my boyfriend bought me a Huetiful Steamer after months of dropping hints. I am not going to do a review of the steamer because there are so many already out there. I live in Arizona and I deal with the problem of hard water.

I love my hair

Yes, I said it!!!! My hair and I have had a love hate relationship since February. More hate than love but today I can say I love my hair. It's been behaving wonderfully...less is more.

If you are reading this you have been blessed to see another year. It's already 14 days into the New Year and I have so many things I want to write about. I have a couple of product reviews coming up, so please subscribe.  Here is a pic of my New Year Eve's hair style. A simple twist out with three cornrows on the side accessorized with a bow (one from my fro'ccessories post). What I would like to call my lazy fro hawk because it requires minimal manipulation. I moisturized with ENSO Naturals Sweet Honey Hibiscus Leave-in Conditioner and I twisted with KCCC (Kinky Curly Curling Custard) and I untwisted my hair with Vatika Oil to minimize frizz.

NYX lipstick haul

I recently went to Ulta to take part in the buy one get one 1/2 off on their NYX products. I picked up some lipstick and just wanted to share. Never be afraid of color.....the thing I love about Ulta is if you are not satisfied with a product, you can return it.

I find that NYX lipsticks are super moisturizing for my lips. They do not hold up if you are looking for long wear though. But I have noticed that when I exfoliate my lips with brown sugar and honey, I can get more wear out of it. When it does fade it still leave behind a stain. It's great starting point for those who are not used to wearing lipstick, they only cost $3.99. The promotion is still going on right now, so if you want to add a lil punch of color to your look...give it a try.

Coffee Break~ Fro'ccesories

I am still in my twa stage. I got tired of the boring twist outs and braid outs. So, I bought some accessories that I have affectionately named fro'ccesories. I will be back soon with pics of how I use them. So, what do you use to jazz up your hair when you feel like you're in a rut?
